Olly Sufi is the manager of Cost Law Services. Olly has a depth of experience in all levels of costs, with extensive experience in varied areas of Costs Law. Having worked for both the Receiving Party and the Paying Party on both the private and public sectors; Olly brings a wide range of experience. Olly has worked on multi-million pound bills; she is an avid negotiator and advocate in Detailed Assessment Hearings. She also drafts Inter–Parte and Legal Aid Bills, as well as Legal Aid Claims.
Olly, completed her Legal Practice Course in 2014, prior to that she graduated with an LL.B Law Degree. Olly also has 4 A-levels (Law, Sociology, Government and Politics and Philosophy) and 12 G.C.S.E’s at Grades A* - C.
Olly began her Cost Law career with a niche Costs practice in the city, and trained with a Senior Cost Lawyer who had over 35 years of Costs Experience, while trained by him, Olly worked on complex multi-million pound bills in Catastrophic and brain damage injuries. Olly was then headhunted by Solicitors firm in Kennington and become one of the youngest Senior Costs Draftsman.
Olly then moved to another firm of Solicitors working in-house. Being the only in-house Law Costs Draftsman, she worked very closely with the Senior Director and owner of the practice to set targets for billing expectations; providing monthly; quarterly and yearly reports, while also setting necessary procedures in place to provide more transparency to the senior Director in terms of Costs for the firm.
Thereafter, she continued her career as a Law Costs Draftsman and was based in the City prior to joining Duncan Lewis Solicitors in 2016, where she assisted the Senior Management in setting up, an in-house Costs Drafting Team; various Costs processes and system changes to assist the firm as a whole in relation to Costs. Olly also attained her great exposure to Legal Aid, while working for Duncan Lewis Solicitor’s, the largest Legal Aid provider in the UK.
Olly joined Cost Law Services Limited in May 2018 as a Costing Manager, and has helped develop the company from 6 staff to now 30+ members of staff. Olly manages the team over the various offices, and travels across the offices. Olly deals with the day to day running of the business, and therefore deals with all aspects of the Company.
In her spare time Olly assists a charity, in varied activities held. Olly also helps manage a Media Film Company. Meanwhile, she is also a keen painter, baker and cook. She enjoys spending time with her family and in particular her young son. Olly also likes travelling and exploring different cultures and countries.
Olly originates from Albania and is fluent Albanian speaker.
