Corrina is an in-house Costs Lawyer with mixed experience in Personal Injury and Public Liability, Clinical Negligence, Commercial Litigation and Banking Litigation.  She is also a qualified Solicitor.


Corrina studied English and German Laws at the University of Liverpool, from where she graduated with honours, before completing her Legal Practice Course at the University of Nottingham.


Corrina then completed her Training Contract in a Legal 500 firm before qualifying as a Solicitor in 2002.   Whilst working in the Personal Injury Department she obtained a Postgraduate qualification in Advanced Litigation. She also qualified as a Costs Lawyer in 2014.

Having worked in personal injury for a several years, during which time she undertook her own costs negotiations,  Corrina opted to specialise in the field of Costs where she has been working for approximately 12 years.  Prior to joining the firm, Corrina worked for a highly reputable Legal Costs Firm in which she worked her way from costs negotiator to Head of the Technical Department in the London office.   

Corrina has worked for both Claimants and Defendants and has been instructed by Law Firms, Insurance Companies, Government Legal Departments (including the NHSLA) and Litigants in Person. She has worked on a wide variety of cases, from small bills to multi-million pound cases as well as technical challenges. She is experienced in drafting Bills, Points of Dispute and Replies, and handling cases from the outset through to assessment, as well as advising on potential for appeal where necessary.

In that time, Corrina has built a strong reputation for her technical knowledge and commercial acumen, as well as for her honest and forthright approach towards both clients and her dealings with opponents. She has been commended on several occasions for her understanding of her clients’ business needs and the way that she applies costs law and procedure so as to achieve the best possible result for them, in all of the circumstances of their particular cases.

Recommendations and Awards

In 2014, Corrina was awarded the ACL Cup for the highest overall grade on the Costs Lawyers Qualification Course.


In her spare time, Corrina enjoys spending time with her family as well as reading and knitting. Corrina also enjoys foreign travel and is currently learning Spanish.
